Difference between culture and civilization

 

Culture and civilization are two words that have similar meanings but different meanings.

Culture refers to a way of being, culture means a certain degree of civilization, but lack of culture does not mean barbarism.  Culture is the sum total of the activities, processes and achievements of human beings to conquer nature, adapt to society and transform society.

The specific content refers to the history, geography, local customs, traditional customs, tools, lifestyles, religious beliefs, literature and art, moral norms, legal systems, ways of thinking, values, aesthetic tastes, spiritual totems, etc. of human groups.  Culture is divided into material culture, philosophical thought (including institutional culture and psychological culture, etc.).

Culture has national characteristics and is the

sum of the existence, inheritance, creation and development of all social phenomena and inner spirits within the human race.  Culture covers the history of human groups from the past to the future.

It is the content of all activities of the group based on the natural basis, and it is the whole of all the material appearances and spiritual interiors of the group.  Culture is what makes the difference between nations, and it always expresses the self and characteristics of a nation.

Culture is the character traits and spiritual temperament formed due to immersion in your ears and eyes, which makes you naturally show different characteristics from other races.  Culture is related to tradition, and the cultures of various ethnic groups are often stuck, showing a tendency to resist or learn from the cultures of different ethnic groups.

Culture is a dynamic and uninterrupted development process that exists throughout human existence, and there is no distinction between culture.

Civilization has a universal character, and the word "civilization" is opposed to "barbarism".  Civilizations are those things that gradually reduce the differences of peoples, and express the general behaviour and achievements of mankind.

Civilization is often something that needs to be learned. It is a common or similar limitation and rule of human beings. Therefore, civilization is always associated with words such as "educated", "knowledgeable" and "ruled".  There are levels in the development of civilization, from the low level to the high level.

Civilization mainly refers to the

quintessence of the cultural achievements accumulated in human history, and it is a collection of all social and natural behaviours that make mankind out of barbarism.

Civilization is the sum total of human beings' adaptation and cognition to the objective world, the humanistic spirit, inventions and creations, and public order and good customs that conform to the pursuit of human spirituality and can be recognized and accepted by the vast majority of people.

It is a certain stage of human cultural development.  The elements of civilization include: family concepts, tools, language, writing, beliefs, religious concepts, laws, city-states and countries, etc.

Due to the uneven distribution of various elements of civilization in time and region, various civilizations with obvious differences have been produced.

Specifically, in modern times, they are the four major civilizations of Western civilization, Arab civilization, Eastern civilization, and ancient Indian civilization.

Civilization includes material civilization and spiritual civilization.  Material civilization is the material achievement of man's transformation of nature.

It is manifested in the progress of people's material production and the improvement of material life, which is the material basis of spiritual civilization, and plays a decisive role in spiritual civilization, especially in cultural construction. The nature of material civilization is determined by the mode of production.

Spiritual civilization is the sum of the spiritual achievements made by human beings in the process of transforming the objective world and the subjective world.

It is a state of progress in human wisdom and morality. It provides ideological guarantee, spiritual power and political guarantee for the development of material civilization.  Intellectual support.

Culture is a neutral concept, and civilization is a positive concept

Culture reflects the differences between various ethnic groups, while civilization reflects the commonality of various ethnic groups.

The activities, processes and results in the process of human beings conquering nature and adapting to society are an objective existence, including both excellent results and dross, both beneficial and detrimental to human beings.

They are all cultures.  Civilization is associated with a certain value, which refers to the positive achievements and progressive aspects of culture, and as a value judgement, it is a positive concept.  Both culture and civilization are related to and adapted to a certain stage of social development.
